So, you may have seen a bunch of people that are currently using one of the programs that I have talk about dark chocolate. Yes, I am one of the leading weight loss coaches in the world and I allow my clients to have dark chocolate in their diets. You don’t have to keep to such a strict diet where you don’t look forward to what you are eating, that is why I have found different ways to keep your mouth watering and little tricks to keep you on track during your time with me.


The difference is that dark chocolate does have some very good nutritional values for us, it is made from the seeds of the cocoa tree and is one of the best sources of antioxidants. There has been research around the food sources that says it can improve health and actually lower the risk of heart disease amongst other benefits like stabilising blood sugar, controlling your appetite and reduce cravings which helps towards your weight loss goals.

But why is dark chocolate classed as a super food, here is why:


  1. It helps to reduce cholesterol, to be more specific it reduces BAD cholesterol (LDL) and raises the levels of the good cholesterol in your system, which when consumed in moderation can have some really good health benefits.
  2. It is very good for your skin! Flavonols in dark chocolate can protect your skin from sun damage and increase blood flow to your skin.
  3. It can help you lose weight! Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but it really does. A small amount that cause your brain to release chemicals to say you are full and satisfied which is an issue when people lose weight and that is mainly how they go off track to settle that craving.
  4. Prevents diabetes!
  5. Improves your mood, I mean you are getting to eat chocolate! Of course, that is going to help!
